My husband and I do a lot of DIY around the house with us both having technician experience. We do know how to solder but it's a whole process of busting out the soldering iron and setting everything up so these are a very welcome shortcut, lol. They work really well and are effective at connecting wires while protecting the joint at the same time with the shrink tubing. Pretty worth it if you are looking to save time and eliminate frustration.

I used these to re-wire my entire golf cart as I installed new lights, accessories and wiring harnesses and the job went smooth and ended up with very professional results.
A standard heat gun on the low setting was all it took to shrink these down evenly and cleanly every time.
No melting of the wiring or anything else in close proximity.
